2. Services Provided

Aldermill provides:

  • Secure document storage and management through your Aldermill account

  • Guidance on signing and notarization requirements

All documents generated are self-help legal forms. Aldermill does not guarantee that any document will be valid in all circumstances or jurisdictions, and we recommend that documents be reviewed by a licensed attorney before execution if your situation is complex.

3. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your estate plan

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

  • Use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms

  • Not attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt our services or systems

  • Review all documents carefully before signing

  • Follow all applicable signing, witnessing, and notarization requirements for your state

4. Payment and Fees

All fees are disclosed clearly before purchase. Aldermill charges a one-time fee per plan — there are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden fees unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. All sales are in U.S. dollars.

5. Refund Policy

Because our services involve the immediate delivery of personalized legal documents, all sales are final once documents have been generated. If you experience a technical issue preventing document delivery, please contact us at hello@aldermillplanning.com and we will work to resolve it promptly.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Aldermill website — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Aldermill Planning LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

Your personal estate planning documents belong to you. Aldermill does not claim ownership of documents generated on your behalf.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Aldermill services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranty regarding the legal sufficiency of any document for any particular purpose or circumstance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aldermill Planning LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
